Land and Property Ownership
As a limited company, MHH is able to own and administer land and property,
and provide a complete safeguard against its possible future development.
It owns or leases most of the open space in the village, and is responsible for managing and maintaining its assets for the benefit of all residents.
These Assets include:
- 224 acres
of land including the Village Green, the Woods, the Western Corridor and various other areas
of woodland, grassland and heathland.
- The Control Tower of the former airfield, its car park and access
road. This building has been refurbished and is at present used by a pre-school
playgroup, after school club and the Martlesham Heath Aviation Society.
- The Pavilion which is currently leased to the Pavilion Management
Committee
- A clock tower and the old airfield's wind-sock.
- 65 car-parking spaces.
